Position
We are looking for a qualified, energetic, ambitious, and results-oriented person to add to our team. The position will be involved in various aspects of leasing and property management for properties in Huntington, WV. Depending on qualifications, this new position may be the manager or an assistant in this area.
Compensation
- $14-$22 per hour total compensation depending on qualifications, a portion of this compensation may be in commissions based on leasing activity.
- performance incentives incorporated into the compensation structure
- employment type: contract (1099) initially, W2 if applicable to role
Responsibilities – complete tasks in various areas of leasing and property management, including the following:
- Post listings and conduct showings
- Process applications, leases, security deposits, and rent payments
- Track property notices and citations
- Coordinate property turns and cleanings
- Track utilities, licenses, city fees, and property taxes
- Support vendor payroll processes
Requirements
- This position requires very strong usage of email, Microsoft Outlook calendar and MS Office products: Word, Excel, etc.
- Proven experience as property manager, leasing, or in another relevant staff role
- Working knowledge of office equipment
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills
- Analytical abilities and aptitude in problem-solving
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to use the Internet for research, collaboration tools, purchasing, and vendor interaction
- Receptive to feedback, coaching, and directions
- Collaborative, respectful, and self-motivated
- Reliable source of transportation and active driver’s license
