Position Information: Come and work for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) owned business. Training and supervision will be provided by an experienced SLP who loves working with SLPAs in the school setting. This is a part-time position for a local school.
About Us: Sunny Speech Solutions, LLC is a local, therapist owned business providing private speech and language therapy and staffing solutions for schools. The Owner/Supervising Speech-Language Pathologist has 30 years of experience working in schools and extensive knowledge of roles and responsibilities to support Speech-Language Pathology Assistants.
Position Responsibilities:
Assist in providing services for students identified with Speech Language Impairments in the school setting under the direct supervision of a certified Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP).
Serve as a member of the educational team by consulting and collaborating with Supervising SLP, campus/district SLPs, campus staff, and Special Education team regarding services to students.
Self-identify as an SLPA with families, campus staff, and other school district personnel and strictly adhere to practice guidelines as outlined by Colorado Department of Education (CDE) for an SLPA.
Provide direct and indirect interventions based on the IEP and implement lesson plans, as directed by the Supervising SLP, through a variety of service delivery models.
Assist the Supervising SLP in creating therapy materials for intervention and carry-over.
Collect data and maintain records as designed by the Supervising SLP and district guidelines, including maintaining accurate and timely documentation of services provided and student progress.
Perform clerical duties such as assisting the Supervising SLP with scheduling, material preparation, and other campus activities.
Submit accurate and timely monthly timesheets to Sunny Speech Solutions,LLC. Perform other duties as assigned by the Supervising SLP.

Colorado Department of Education (CDE) Speech-Language Pathology Assistant Authorization
