We are currently searching for a skilled and detail-oriented Quality Assurance Technician to support our production and food safety operations. This individual will be responsible for performing quality control analysis on raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods while ensuring compliance with company standards, food safety regulations, and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs).
Responsibilities
While performing the duties of this position, the employee is occasionally required to sit, reach above the shoulders, climb, balance, kneel, crouch, and/or crawl. The employee is frequently required to stand, walk, taste, smell, handle, touch, talk, and hear. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, and the ability to adjust focus. The work environment is a wet production environment with loud noise levels.
Schedule
Our production team operates on 12-hour shifts with a rotating schedule of 3 days one week and 4 days the following week.

This individual will be responsible for performing quality control analysis on raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods while ensuring compliance with company standards, food safety regulations, and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs).
Responsibilities
- Perform analysis on in-process products, finished products, and R&D samples to ensure specifications are met.
- Make accept/reject decisions on incoming raw materials and pre-shipment samples based on established criteria.
- Place defective products on hold in accordance with company procedures and report defect issues.
- Review analytical test results and production parameters.
- Perform line control checks to ensure compliance with quality and food safety standards.
- Conduct incoming material analysis, batch mix verification, and finished product component testing.
- Communicate non-conforming results to appropriate personnel.
- Coach and guide production employees to maintain the highest standards of food safety and food quality.
- Support plant operations as needed.
- Evaluate questionable ingredients and finished products.
- Oversee production lines to ensure production efficiency and compliance with food safety standards.
- Collect and maintain production, quality, and efficiency data.
- Maintain and update IMS lists and related documentation.
- Assist with facility inspections, audits, and GMP implementations.
- Perform raw product and finished product sampling and analysis.
- Ensure compliance with corporate and plant safety standards, GMPs, and applicable regulatory requirements.
- Other duties may be assigned by the immediate supervisor or management as needed.
- GFSI (SQF) experience, knowledge, or training preferred.
- HACCP training and/or experience preferred.
- Two or more years of experience performing quality control testing in a food, beverage, or dairy manufacturing environment.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Excellent organizational, time management, and attention-to-detail skills.
- Strong mathematical and problem-solving abilities.
- Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Ability to use standard laboratory equipment.
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret data effectively.
- Ability to communicate professionally with individuals at all levels of the organization.
- Mechanical aptitude is helpful.
- Bilingual in English/Spanish is a plus.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.

- Crew B- Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, & every other Saturday- 3 AM- 3:30 PM
- $21.50/hour
