The menu features raw bar selections, wood-fired proteins, steakhouse classics, and handmade pastas. On the beverage side, the team offers a substantial wine list spanning traditional options to more adventurous and obscure choices. Cocktails at Sunny’s are also at the forefront, with expertly crafted classics, no-ABV options, and large-format cocktails. The Support position is responsible to ensuring that our guests have a memorable experience at Sunny’s. This role encompasses both the food running position as well as a server assistant position. The Support role is responsible for setting up the dining room, maintaining mise en place, clearing tables, water service, polishing glassware and working with the servers and managers to provide impeccable service.
Duties
- Assist servers with bussing tables and resetting them for new guests.
- Help with food handling and preparation, ensuring that all dishes are presented beautifully and served promptly.
- Communicate effectively with kitchen staff to ensure timely service and address any special requests from guests.
- Maintain cleanliness in the dining area, including sweeping, mopping, and organizing supplies.
- Support banquet operations by setting up tables, chairs, and decorations as required for events.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing guest inquiries and ensuring their needs are met throughout their dining experience.
Requirements
- Demonstrate a passion for hospitality
- Gracefully execute steps of service to provide a fine dining experience including clearing, marking, running food & drinks, resetting, etc.
- Maintain expertise of all food and beverage menu items including ingredients, preparation methods, and allergies
- Act as a dedicated food runner for various shifts
- Uphold a high standard of cleanliness and personal appearance
- Provide constant communication and support to all teammates
- Thoroughly complete setup and breakdown of each station
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- English fluency and additional languages preferred, but not required
- Ability to stand or walk for long periods of time
- Ability to balance & carry multiple plates, glass racks and or/glasses, and lift objects up to 40 lbs.
- Ability to work nights, weekends and holidays, and variable schedule per the needs of the business
