Description
Sunny’s Car Wash is seeking outgoing and enthusiastic individuals to join our team and serve the Davis community. Full and Part-time roles involve on-site work at the car wash, where responsibilities include welcoming and engaging with guests in a friendly and professional manner. Team Members will also be tasked with overseeing general site cleanliness, handling cashier duties, assisting guests through the car wash process, and more!
Essential Duties and Responsibilities of Team Member:
- Greets guests with a smile as they enter the site.
- Explains services provided by Sunny’s Car Wash to guests.
- Assists guests with questions or concerns.
- Assists guests in locating various products, resolving complaints, or providing information.
- Properly uses sales membership pitch when interacting with new guests.
- Sells additional services and vending items by recognizing opportunities and benefits to the guest.
- Accurately and efficiently completes sales transactions and maintains proper cash accountabilities at POS stations.
- Maintains housekeeping and maintenance responsibilities (driveways, restrooms, and car wash)
- Explains car wash entry procedure to guests and follows exact car loading and prepping procedures, ensuring team member and/or guest safety is not jeopardized.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Must be able to smile and maintain a clean, professional appearance
- Strong verbal communication skills.
- Must be able to read, count, and write accurately
- Must be able to work various hours, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to perform repetitive movements over long periods of time.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Prolonged periods standing and working on cash register or related equipment.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times.
Work Environment and Physical Demands: Person will work outside in a loud environment due to car wash equipment. The person will be in constant motion and will have physical activities, such as lifting (0-50 lbs.), bending, reaching, and stooping
Salary Description
$18.00 per hour performance incentives
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
