This is a 1099 Independent Contractor position. You are self-employed and work on a flexible, contract basis. You will not be classified as a traditional employee and will be responsible for managing your own taxes. As a 1099 contractor with Sunny Maids of Frisco, you will receive job assignments through us, work in clients' homes across the Frisco and DFW area, and be compensated based on a revenue split per job completed. There are no set shifts, no punching in or out, and no micromanaging — just consistent work, fair pay, and the flexibility to build a schedule that works for you.

Responsibilities

As a House Cleaner / Maid with Sunny Maids of Frisco, you will be responsible for delivering professional, high-quality cleaning services in residential and commercial properties across Frisco and the greater DFW area. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include but are not limited to the following:

General Cleaning (All Services)

• Dust and wipe down all surfaces including countertops, shelves, furniture, door frames, and baseboards
• Vacuum all carpeted areas, rugs, and upholstered furniture
• Sweep and mop all hard floor surfaces throughout the property
• Clean and sanitize all bathrooms including toilets, sinks, showers, tubs, mirrors, and fixtures
• Clean and degrease kitchen areas including countertops, stovetops, sinks, and cabinet exteriors
• Empty trash and replace liners in all rooms
• Spot clean walls, light switches, and door handles as needed
• Ensure all rooms are left tidy, organized, and presentable upon completion

Deep Cleaning

• Clean behind and underneath appliances including refrigerators and stoves
• Scrub grout lines in bathrooms and kitchens
• Clean inside ovens and microwaves
• Detail window sills, tracks, and blinds
• Wipe down all baseboards, trim, and ceiling fans thoroughly

Move-In / Move-Out Cleaning

• Clean inside all kitchen and bathroom cabinets and drawers
• Clean interior windows (up to 4 included per job)
• Wipe down all appliance interiors including oven, refrigerator, and dishwasher
• Clean baseboards, trim, and door frames throughout the entire property
• Sweep and clean garage and patio areas as needed
• Perform a top-to-bottom full property clean to ensure spotless handover for tenants or new owners

Commercial Cleaning

• Clean office buildings, retail spaces, and other commercial properties
• Perform after-hours or weekend cleaning as scheduled to minimize disruption to business operations
• Follow commercial cleaning checklists provided per client

Recurring Maintenance Cleaning

• Perform weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly scheduled cleans for assigned recurring clients
• Follow customized cleaning checklists tailored to each client's priorities
• Build and maintain a professional, respectful relationship with recurring clients

Eco-Friendly Standards

• Use only the company-provided non-toxic, plant-based, EPA Safer Choice certified cleaning products
• Use microfiber tools and reusable equipment per company standards
• Follow low-water cleaning methods and avoid use of harsh chemicals at all times

Professionalism & Quality Standards

• Arrive on time and prepared for every assigned job
• Follow the Sunny Maids room-by-room cleaning checklist on every visit
• Allow client walkthrough upon completion and address any concerns on the spot
• Represent Sunny Maids of Frisco with professionalism, honesty, and respect at all times
• Communicate promptly with the Sunny Maids team regarding job updates, delays, or client feedback

Qualifications

• Prior experience in residential cleaning or janitorial work is highly preferred; hotel or commercial cleaning experience is a plus.
• Demonstrated skills in cleaning techniques including floor care, carpet cleaning, and sanitation practices.
• Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, bending, standing for extended periods, and operating cleaning equipment safely.
• Strong customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor.
• Knowledge of laundry processes and basic cooking skills are desirable.
• Familiarity with custodial procedures or housekeeping management is advantageous.
