The ideal candidate will be well-versed in accounting principles and able to work comfortably with numbers and attentive to details.Job Description:General Ledger, prepare journal entries, reconcile financial statements and accounts, and ensure data accuracy.Account Reconciliation.Reviews current status of customer accounts to identify and resolve billing processing problems in a timely manner.Obtains revenue by verifying transaction information; computing charges and refunds; preparing and mailing invoices; identifying delinquent accounts and insufficient payments.Pays invoices by verifying transaction information; scheduling and preparing disbursements; obtaining authorization of payment.Prepares financial reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information and trends.Maintains accounting ledgers by posting account transactions.Verifies accounts by reconciling statements and transactions.Resolves account discrepancies by investigating documentation; issuing stop payments, payments, or adjustments.Maintains financial security by following internal accounting controls.Secures financial information by completing data base backups.Maintains financial historical records by filing accounting documents.Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.Other duties as assigned.Qualifications:Bachelor Degree in Accounting or FinanceExcellent analytical and math skillsProficient in Microsoft Suite, especially in ExcelStrong written and communication skillsSkill in dealing with multiple projects and interruptionsStrong organizational skills; attention to detailAbility to analyze financial reportsAbility to prepare accounting reportsAbility to work independently and meet deadlines as assignedAbility to maintain effective working relationshipsFull cycle accounting and the generally accepted accounting principlesSAGE software or Syspro ERP background is a plusBenefits:Medical, Dental, Vision Insurance.Life Insurance: Covered by the company 100%.401k Dollar for Dollar matching up to 3%, eligible to enroll after six months with the company. 100% fully vested.5 Paid Sick Leave.7 Paid Holidays.Paid Vacation.Company provides discounts for fitness equipment for our employees.Powered by JazzHRdyQdCpIjE3
