We are seeking a Forklift Operator for our Dayton, New Jersey plant. The Forklift Operator will be a key player in our plant operations. Job Description:
• Loading and unloading trucks in our warehouse.
- Tracking inventory using our scanning system.
- Removing pallets from the production line using a forklift.
- Operate palletizers, troubleshoot photo eye sensors, proxies, machine controls, etc.
- Perform stocking for palletizers according to standard procedures.
- Additional task as assigned.
Requirements:
• Prefer individuals with at least 1 year experience in a manufacturing environment
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Pass a drug screen and physical
- Must possess a valid driver’s license
Physical Requirements:
- Stand on hard surfaces such as concrete for extended periods, up to 12 hours per shift
- Lift and carry materials weighing up to 60 pounds
- Climb stairs, ladders, platforms, and other structures on equipment or buildings to inspect, operate, maintain, or troubleshoot
- Bend at the knees, twist the back, and kneel as needed to access equipment for operation, maintenance, or troubleshooting
- Work indoors and outdoors in varying seasonal temperatures and humidity levels Function effectively in areas of high noise while using proper personal protective equipment (PPE)
Salary:
- $22.06 an hour with shift differential
- Learn to Earn environment, opportunity to earn $26 an hour within the first year of employment.
Shift:
- 3rd Shift: M-F 10:30pm-7:00am
- 2-2-3: 6:30pm-7:00am
Salary : $22 - $26
