What are the responsibilities and job description for the Customer Experience and Reservations Agent position at Sunny Days Vacation Rentals?
Sunny Days Vacation Rentals is a short term vacation rental management company headquartered in Waco, TX.
We are looking for an individual that is a team player and self driven. This is a split responsibility role between a reservation agent and guest experience agent. If you have past experience in the short term rental industry or hotel industry, this is a bonus. We are looking for someone who is comfortable with reservation software (taking bookings, cancelations, refunds, etc.) and confident in guest communications, confrontations and de-escalation on a daily basis.
THINGS TO KNOW:

- This is a full time position at a physical address (Not remote).
- The schedule is subject to vary seasonally, but will start as: Tuesday through Friday 10:00AM - 9:00 PM (10 hrs w/60 min lunch breaks). Note, this is 4 x 10 hour days, so you will have a 3 day ‘weekend’ each week.

RESERVATIONS JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Take inbound requests for new bookings, process payments and assist guests in finding the right house for their needs.
- Work leads daily for interested and prospective guests
- Keep excellent communication and organization with guests looking to book a stay.
- Reach out to guests for final payments and any items where additional action is needed to finalize a booking.
- Modify reservations when needed (Add-ons to folios, cancelations, extensions, etc.)
GUEST EXPERIENCE JOB DESCRIPTION:
- MUST BE COMFORTABLE WITH CONFRONTATION FROM UPSET GUESTS: Though we only hear from a small percentage of guests, with over 10k bookings/year, this will be a regular occurrence to diffuse situations professionally.
- Assist current, future and past guests inquiring about any and all situations needing resolution. Situations may include property-stay requests, complaints, disputes, maintenance requests, cleaning requests, refund requests etc.
- Communicate effectively with necessary departments (Accounting, operations, etc.) in order to carry out the execution of guest-related requests and accomodations.
- Facilitate any tracking procedures or projects required by management.
