Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and dedicated person to support the development and well-being of children in our care environment. The ideal candidate will have a background in early childhood education, experience working with children of various ages, and a genuine passion for nurturing young minds. Experience preferred but not required.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and monitor children’s activities to ensure safety and engagement
- Provide basic caregiving duties including feeding, diapering, and hygiene support for infants and toddlers
- Manage behavior using positive reinforcement and behavior management techniques
- Assist with classroom organization and maintain a clean, safe environment
- Communicate effectively with parents or guardians regarding children's progress and daily activities
- Administer first aid when necessary and follow safety protocols at all times
Requirements
- Must have or be able to obtain PA child abuse clearances
- Certification in first aid and CPR upon hire
- Online training courses upon hire
- Prior experience working with children in daycare, preschool, babysitting, or nannying roles preferred, but not required
- Ability to work well with diverse groups of children, including those with disabilities or special needs
- Patience, compassion, and a genuine enthusiasm for caring for children
- Must be reliable and dedicated
