What are the responsibilities and job description for the Preschool Teacher Orem 2 to 3 year olds position at Sunny Daycare?
Looking for a flexible person that loves to be with kids.
Pay depends on experience. Looking for someone with open availability and flexible. Some training is after work hours from 7-9:30 through online classes. Some Saturdays that are optional. They are not hard training classes.
You may be required to drive kids to and from preschool, kindergarten ect. Must have a valid drivers license. Legal to work. Diaper changing. Potty training, and lesson planning skills required. Looking for a well rounded person. Flexible with whatever we need in a daycare.
Shift we are hiring for is 930-6 to work with this age group... however you may be working with other age groups
Can start work when you pass a state background check with fingerprints.
1. Work with assigned group of children applying best practices.
2. Facilitate and nurture the development of each child’s self-esteem, trust, and growing autonomy.
3. Respond quickly to children’s different and personal needs (verbal and non-verbal cues), temperament styles, abilities, and cultures.
4. Document daily individual needs, strengths, interests, service plans, attendance, and meal counts for each child.
5. Plan and implement lesson plan activities and experiences that are developmentally appropriate.
6. Prepare the learning environment for children to learn through active exploration and interaction with adult caregivers.
7. Be willing to be background checked, cost 74 dollars depending on current rate fees. Be willing to obtain a cpr, first aid, food handlers permit, and do at least 20 hours of training yearly. The facility normally pays for the additional certificates when needed. A background has to be passed before actual work can begin. The other certifications can be obtained after work has started.
