Divisional Staffing Specialist
Reports to: Sunlite General Manager
Dotted line: Director of HR, Diversatek, Inc.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Consult with department managers to thoroughly understand the department’s needs of Non-Exempt roles and responsibilities. Work closely with corporate HR to maintain visibility of staffing needs and requirements for non-exempt employees via weekly meetings.
- Manage job postings for Non-Exempt positions on a variety of external job sites.
- Coordinate and schedule interviews for Non-Exempt positions.
- Conduct phone interviews with prospective Non-Exempt candidates.
- Interview and assess Non-Exempt candidates’ qualifications through a combination of behavioral interviews and competency-based evaluations.
- Provide fact-based and candid assessments of candidates and make clear recommendations.
- Conduct new hire orientation, including being the point person for new employee onboarding questions. Act as the divisional contact and liaison for employee engagement, questions, and feedback.
- Develop a network of ready-to-work Non-Exempt candidates to meet the current and anticipated needs of the division through online social networking, job boards, community involvement, and networking.
- Maintain accurate and thorough documentation within the company’s ATS and HRiS.
- Facilitate and ensure timely processing of employee documents such as new hire, terminations, leave of absence (FMLA and standard), performance/merit reviews, and 1st Report of Injury communication for work-related injuries, etc.
- Comply with all corporate HR policies and procedures and act with the utmost discretion to protect the privacy of divisional employees.
- Assist with open enrollment, 401k and benefits as directed by corporate HR.
- Assist with hiring events and other HR related projects as necessary
- Maintain and oversee the employee Training Manager software
- Perform other non-HR functions, projects, or company initiatives as business needs arise
Limits of Authority
- Works primarily with Non-Exempt candidates and employees
- Works within approved programs required to attract the best candidates for open positions
- Works within state and national employment and labor laws during all parts of the recruiting and hiring process.
- Performs recruiting activities for Hiring Managers in assigned job postings. Does not have hiring authority
- Provides information and analysis as required by the manager and corporate HR to compile recruiting metrics and performance.
