Responsibilities:

Transportation Services:
- Safely transport residents to scheduled appointments, errands, and recreational outings in a timely manner.
- Assist residents in and out of the vehicle, ensuring their comfort and safety throughout the trip.
- Maintain daily transportation schedules and communicate any changes or delays to staff and residents.
Vehicle Maintenance & Safety:
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections to ensure cleanliness and proper functioning.
- Report any mechanical issues or safety concerns to the appropriate personnel.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations while operating facility vehicles.
- Maintain vehicle cleanliness as needed.
Resident Support & Interaction:
- Provide a positive and respectful experience for all residents during transportation.
- Communicate courteously with residents, families, and staff to coordinate transportation needs.
- Maintain confidentiality and uphold the dignity of all passengers.
- Escort service with resident as needed.
Qualifications:
- Valid California driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- CPR and First Aid certification preferred (or willingness to obtain).
- Previous experience transporting seniors or working in a healthcare or assisted living setting is a plus.
- Strong interpersonal skills with a caring and professional demeanor.
- Ability to lift up to 30 lbs and assist residents with mobility needs.
