Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Construction Worker to join our team. This role involves assisting with various construction projects, ensuring safety standards are met, and contributing to the successful completion of building and infrastructure tasks. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, physical stamina, and a willingness to learn new skills in a dynamic environment.
Responsibilities
- Assist with the preparation of construction sites, including setting up equipment and materials
- Perform manual labor such as lifting, digging, and carrying materials to support construction activities
- Operate basic tools and machinery under supervision, ensuring proper use and safety protocols
- Follow instructions from supervisors and adhere to safety guidelines at all times
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency
- Support the installation of structures, framing, or other building components as needed
- Assist with loading and unloading materials and supplies on-site
Experience
- Prior experience in construction or related manual labor roles is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and perform physically demanding tasks
- Knowledge of safety procedures related to construction sites is a plus
- Strong teamwork skills with the ability to follow directions accurately
- Physical stamina and strength to perform repetitive tasks for extended periods
Minimum Qualifications:
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Must be able to read, write, and perform basic math.
- Good communication.
- Ability to climb ladders or steps to reach objects.
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs.
- Work cooperatively with other employees.
- Must be able to work in an environment where routinely exposed to dust, dirt, vibrations, extreme climate and changes in weather.
- Valid driver’s license & reliable transportation.
- Steel toe boots required.
- Ability to follow MIOSHIA guidelines. (PPE provided)
