Some benefits of this school contract SLP position include:
- Flexibility- create your own schedule during school hours up to 7.5 hours daily

- Competitive pay rate starting at $50/hr for 1099 and $40/hr W2 based on experience
- Salary split over 10 or 12 months starting at $58,000.00

The candidate must have a current Florida DOH speech-language pathologist license, and CCC from ASHA or recent graduate Clinical fellow.
Some responsibilities of a school-based SLP are listed below:
- Diagnose speech & language impairments
- Evaluation administration and report writing
- IEP development and meetings
- Progress report monitoring/writing
- Speech/language therapy
- Treatment documentation and attendance tracking
