What are the responsibilities and job description for the Tenant Care Aide - Casual position at Sunlight Assisted Living LLC?
We are seeking a compassionate Tenant Care Aide to join our team in providing care and support to tenants in our facility. This would be a casual role which means flexibility with your schedule and only 6-12 hours per week. The ideal candidate will have a passion for assisting individuals with daily living activities and ensuring their well-being.
Responsibilities:
- Assist tenants with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Provide emotional support and companionship to tenants.
- Help maintain a clean and safe living environment for tenants.
- Monitor and report any changes in tenants' health or behavior to the appropriate personnel
- Respect and uphold the rights of all tenants
- Assist with meal preparation and feeding when necessary
Skills:
- Experience in home care or nursing home settings is a plus
- CBRF Training and First Aid certification preferred
- Understanding of resident rights and dignity
- Familiarity with dementia care techniques
