What are the responsibilities and job description for the Caregiver - Weekends position at Sunlight Assisted Living LLC?
We are seeking a compassionate caregiver to join our team in providing care and support to residents. We are hiring to cover week ends with opportunity to cover some week days. The ideal candidate will have a passion for assisting individuals with daily living activities and ensuring their well-being.
Responsibilities:
- Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Provide emotional support and companionship to residents
- Help maintain a clean and safe living environment for residents
- Monitor and report any changes in residents' health or behavior to the appropriate personnel
- Respect and uphold the rights of all residents
- Assist with meal preparation and feeding when necessary
Skills:
- Experience in home care or nursing home settings is a plus
- CBRF Training and First aid certification preferred
- Understanding of resident rights and dignity
- Familiarity with dementia care techniques
- Valid driver's license for potential transportation needs
