What are the responsibilities and job description for the Associate II, Warehouse position at SUNKIST GROWERS LLC?
Responsible for ensuring timely and accurate shipping and receiving of all materials, managing inventory and stock in an organized and efficient manner, and maintaining the premises of the warehouse, loading/unloading areas, and the warehouse yard. Responsible for additional tasks supporting food safety.
Essential Job functions/ Duties:
- Receives all incoming material within 24 hours. Adheres to all processes documented in receiving SOP’s. Generates pallet tags for all incoming material.
- Stocks the warehouse with incoming material always adhering to bin locations, ensures accuracy of placement.
- Follows first in/first out process when loading material.
- Reconciles actual product shipped against vendor’s packing list, noting and reporting damage or discrepancies.
- Matches vendor packing list to purchase order noting and reporting discrepancies.
- Prepares items to be shipped to customers and vendors.
- Creates shipper’s bill of lading for materials being shipped.
- Disburses paperwork through the appropriate channel to ensure proper records can be maintained.
- Identifies and reports inventory discrepancies.
- Maintains and updates inventory locations as required.
- Performs daily forklift maintenance/safety checks and document checklist.
- Performs refueling procedures (propane), Must be trained in battery recharging procedures
- Support QC as needed
- Prepares and conducts physical inventory
- Support with Export Container Inspections has needed
- Performs daily walkthrough of the facility to report any findings and assure all GMPs are being followed.
- Other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications (Education, Certifications/Licenses, and Experience:
- 3 – 5 years in a back of house/ warehouse environment.
- Experience or exposure in the fields of agricultural sales, purchasing, light manufacturing, or citrus production and processing.
- Must have warehouse experience.
- High school or GED, or other related field or equivalent
- Required forklift certified.
- Ability to lift up to 60 lbs. and handle bulky items. Occasionally, lift items up to 80 lbs.
