Accountants (Valencia, CA)

Produce financial statements and reports, examine and analyze accounting records, and complete monthly and annual closings of the general ledger.  Review and approve balance sheet reconciliations and assess financial operations, risks, and challenges.  May perform additional duties that are similar and consistent with stated position requirements.

Qualified candidates must possess a Bachelor's degree (or a foreign degree that is equivalent to a U.S. Bachelor’s degree) in Accounting or closely related field plus thereafter 5 years of progressively responsible experience.  Of the required experience, must have 1 year of experience in each of the following:

• SAP/One Enterprise Resource Planning system
• LIFO and FIFO inventory procedures
• Calculating and allocating production overhead costs
• Analyzing financial reports and explaining cost variances to management
• GAAP and SOX controls 
• Meeting financial month end closing deadlines
• Supervising clerks and accountants

Must pass normal 1) background check and 2) drug test.

Domestic travel to various company locations in California required up to 5% to meet business needs.

Salary Range: 154,500.32 to $175,000
