At Sunkiss Airbrush™ By Alicia, we specialize in skin-safe airbrush tans thoughtfully created to enhance each client’s natural beauty—not change it.

We are currently seeking a warm, responsible, and reliable part-time Spray Tan Artist to join our team. Previous spray tanning experience is preferred; however, we are willing to train the right candidate who has a genuine passion for the beauty industry, a strong desire to learn, and the professionalism required to represent our brand.

Airbrush tanning is more than a service—it requires skill, precision, an artistic eye, and an understanding of the client’s skin.

✨ Position Details

• Part-time position
• Location: Woodbury, NY (Long Island)
• Schedule: To be determined; flexibility is required

✨ Compensation

The Spray Tan Artist will receive a daily rate of pay, along with any gratuities earned from the clients they serve.

Spray Tan Application

• Perform professional airbrush tan applications according to Sunkiss Airbrush™ protocols
• Follow all application, sanitation, safety, and client-care standards
• Continue developing your knowledge of skin assessment, undertones, color theory, and solution selection through our training

Client Experience & Front Desk Support

• Welcome every client in a warm, polished, and professional manner
• Guide clients through the intake process, including required forms and preparation instructions
• Escort clients to the treatment room and ensure they feel informed and comfortable
• Provide attentive service while maintaining appropriate professional boundaries

Studio Standards

• Maintain a clean, organized, and fully prepared treatment room
• Properly sanitize and reset the room between every appointment
• Help maintain the presentation and organization of the studio
• Take pride in cleanliness, consistency, and attention to detail

✨ Requirements

• Previous spray tanning experience is preferred, but we are willing to train the right candidate
• Responsible, dependable, punctual, and committed to the agreed-upon schedule
• High standards of cleanliness, organization, and personal accountability
• Professional, polished, warm, and client-focused presence
• Ability to follow established application protocols and employment standards
• Willingness to receive feedback, continue learning, and work as part of a team

✨ Additional Opportunity for Estheticians

This position is an excellent complement to a career in esthetics, as airbrush tanning requires an understanding of the skin, skin types, and client care. We also have an opportunity available for a Licensed Esthetician. If you are an esthetician with an interest in airbrush tanning, you may be considered for both roles, allowing you to provide both esthetic services and airbrush tanning within our studio.
