Operations Analyst (Contract – 6 Months | Full-Time Track)Hybrid – Costa Mesa, CA (PST preferred)$90,000–$97,000 annual equivalentFull-time (40 hours/week)Strong potential for full-time conversion based on performanceWe are seeking a mid-level Operations Analyst to build and own our monthly Sales forecasting framework and strengthen business analytics across Sales and Operations.This is a hands-on role focused on structured forecasting, data integrity, and operational alignment — not basic reporting.What You’ll DoSales ForecastingBuild and maintain monthly Sales forecasts using Microsoft Dynamics CRM opportunity and quote dataDevelop revenue and unit projections using structured pipeline-weighted methodologyDeliver forecast packages aligned with HQ manufacturing and procurement planningContinuously refine models and improve forecast accuracyData & Systems IntegrationReconcile CRM data with SAP ERP and financial recordsImprove CRM data quality and reporting consistencyBuild scalable models in Excel and/or Power BISupport CRM transition and implementationOperational AnalysisIdentify quote-to-order bottlenecksInvestigate forecast misses and revenue timing discrepanciesPerform structured root-cause analysis across Sales, Finance, and OperationsRecommend data-driven process improvementsWhat We’re Looking For3–6 years in Operations Analytics, Business Analytics, or Sales OperationsExperience building forecasting models (from scratch preferred)Advanced Excel skillsCRM experience (Microsoft Dynamics preferred)ERP exposure (SAP preferred)Understanding of pipeline forecasting logic and probability weightingStrong attention to detail and structured analytical thinkingPreferredRenewable energy or industrial B2B experiencePower BI, SQL, Python, or R exposureExperience with long sales cycles and large contract environmentsSuccess in First 6 MonthsMonthly forecast delivered on timeForecast accuracy within defined tolerance bandMeasurable improvement in CRM data completenessIdentification and execution of process improvementsThis role operates independently but in close collaboration with leadership.
