Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Associate role based in Chattanooga, TN. The Associate will welcome customers, actively engage to understand their needs, and provide personalized product recommendations that align with their style, preferences, and performance requirements. Daily responsibilities include maintaining product knowledge, demonstrating features and benefits of frames and lenses, and supporting customers through the full sales process, including fitting and purchase. The Associate will help maintain store standards by organizing displays, ensuring merchandise is well presented, and supporting inventory tasks such as stocking and basic loss-prevention awareness. The role also involves processing transactions accurately, handling returns or exchanges in line with company policies, and collaborating with team members to meet sales goals while delivering a consistent, high-quality in-store experience.

Qualifications

• Customer service and retail sales skills, including active listening, needs-based selling, and building rapport with a diverse customer base.
• Ability to learn and apply product knowledge, including features, benefits, and style guidance for sunglasses and related accessories.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain options clearly and support customers in making confident decisions.
• Basic point-of-sale, cash-handling, and transaction-processing skills, with attention to accuracy and detail.
• Ability to maintain visual merchandising standards, support inventory organization, and contribute to a clean, safe, and inviting store environment.
• Comfort working in a fast-paced, goal-oriented setting, including meeting individual and store performance targets as part of a team.
• Flexibility to work a retail schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Previous retail, fashion, or customer-facing experience is preferred but not required; a willingness to learn and a positive, inclusive attitude are essential.
