Role Description The Assistant role at Sunglass Hut in Laurel, MD is a full-time, on-site position focused on delivering outstanding customer experiences. Day-to-day responsibilities include greeting and assisting customers, providing product recommendations, and supporting sales through knowledgeable service and a friendly, engaging approach. The Assistant helps maintain store appearance, stocks and organizes merchandise, and supports inventory control and visual merchandising standards. This role also involves processing transactions accurately, handling returns and exchanges, and following store policies and procedures. The Assistant collaborates with the store team to meet sales goals, uphold brand standards, and contribute to a positive, inclusive work environment.
Qualifications
- Strong customer service and client-facing skills, with the ability to build rapport and deliver welcoming, attentive support.
- Retail or sales experience, including cash handling, point-of-sale (POS) operation, and basic merchandising or inventory tasks.
