This is a full-time, on-site role located in Wichita, KS, for a Pharmacist at Sunflower State Vital Care. The Pharmacist will be responsible for preparing and dispensing medications, collaborating with healthcare providers to develop treatment plans, monitoring patient outcomes, ensuring accurate documentation, and maintaining compliance with all pharmaceutical regulations and standards. The role includes overseeing infusion therapies and providing education to patients and healthcare staff to ensure optimal care delivery.
- Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical care, medication preparation, and dispensing
- Experience with infusion therapies, including anti-infectives, IVIG, and parenteral nutrition
- Proficiency in patient counseling and healthcare provider collaboration
- Meticulous attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to maintain accurate and compliant documentation
- Current Pharmacist license in the state of Kansas
- Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary healthcare team
- Prior experience in infusion pharmacy or similar settings is a plus
