- Design and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that incorporate literacy education, math, physical education, and Montessori methods to stimulate cognitive and social development.
- Create a safe, welcoming classroom environment that encourages exploration and independence through effective classroom management and toddler care practices.
- Engage children in activities that promote language skills, fine and gross motor development, and social-emotional growth while supporting special education needs and early intervention strategies.
- Monitor each child's progress through observation and documentation to tailor instruction and support their individual learning journeys.
- Communicating with parents and guardians about their child's milestones, behavior management strategies, and developmental progress to foster strong partnerships.
- Maintain compliance with childcare regulations and daycare policies while ensuring a clean, organized classroom environment.
- Collaborate with management to develop curriculum, and participate in ongoing training on childhood development topics and classroom experience best practices.
- A qualified Teacher must be 18 years or older, with a Bachelor's Degree, an Associate's Degree OR 16 Semester credits (24 Quarter credits) from an Accredited College.
- Proven experience working with children in a daycare setting, with specific classroom management skills for toddlers.
- Strong knowledge of childhood development principles, early childhood education methodologies—including Montessori—and behavior management techniques.
- Excellent English communication skills to effectively engage with children, parents, staff, and community partners.
- Ability to develop creative lesson plans
- Prior experience in private schools, daycare environments, or related fields is highly desirable.
- Ability to adapt teaching strategies for diverse learning needs while maintaining a positive classroom atmosphere.
