Sunflower Imaging is seeking a motivated and patient-focused X-Ray Technologist to join our growing outpatient imaging center in Wichita, Kansas. This position is ideal for an X-Ray Tech who is interested in expanding their skills and learning MRI in a supportive, team-oriented environment.
Position Summary
The X-Ray Technologist will perform diagnostic radiographic procedures while ensuring patient safety, comfort, and high-quality imaging. The ideal candidate is dependable, professional, and eager to grow clinically.
Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic X-ray examinations in accordance with physician orders and established protocols
- Ensure patient safety, comfort, and proper positioning during exams
- Maintain radiation safety standards and comply with all regulatory requirements
- Accurately document procedures and patient information
- Maintain imaging equipment and exam rooms
- Collaborate with radiologists, technologists, and front office staff
- Demonstrate interest and willingness to cross-train in MRI
Requirements
- Active Kansas X-Ray Technologist License (required)
- ARRT certification (required)
- Strong attention to detail and patient care
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Interest in learning MRI (MRI experience not required)
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior outpatient imaging or clinical experience
- CPR/BLS certification
