Sunflower, a generation and transmission cooperative, has an opening in the Transmission Engineering department (Substation Physical Design Engineer or Substation Electrical P&C Design Engineer) in Wichita or Great Bend, KS. As the successful candidate, you will get to use your creativity to help design substations and switching stations while also assisting with system protection functions. Have an impact by helping Sunflower achieve the lowest cost, most reliable, and environmentally sound electric transmission and substation infrastructure possible.

Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in electrical, mechanical, or civil engineering from an ABET accredited institution.
Successful completion of Fundamental Engineering Exam is preferred.
