Manager of Infant Toddler Services or Director of Early Education Center

Qualifications
Minimum of Kansas licensure or certification in Occupational Therapy
Clean background check

Certification
Maintain 1st Aid, CPR, HIPPA, BBP, Abuse/Neglect/Ethics, and OSHA
certifications
Valid Kansas Drivers License with a good driving record
Kansas licensure or certification in Occupational Therapy
Family Service Coordinator certificate (obtained after hire)
Education
Minimum of Masters degree or Doctoral Degree in Occupational Therapy
Position Summary
The OT will serve on a transdisciplinary team for families enrolled in
the Infant Toddler Program.
The OT will provide comprehensive and integrated support as outlined in
the Part C Program Manual for Infants and Toddlers in Kansas
This team member will also provide coaching and training within ones
scope of practice to other team members as well as families.
Experience
Experience in special education and/or special needs program environment
for infants and toddlers
Skills
Must be able to drive in varying weather and geographical conditions
Ability to multitask
Good with details
Good verbal and written communication skills
Work independently with little or no supervision
**Working**
Conditions
90% indoor
10% outdoor
Environmental conditions vary by work site and employees are required to
work at community locations
Employee assumes responsibility in developing work schedule with
approval from supervisor that typically reflect hours Monday-Friday but
schedules and hours vary based on need
Employees are expected to remain flexible and cooperative.
Physical Requirements
Regularly required to stand, kneel, stoop, squat, talk, walk, sit, and
hear
Frequently required to reach with hands and arms and use hands to
finger, handle, feel objects, manipulate tools, and grasp objects
Ability to listen and remember information
Ability to speak clearly
May be expected to lift up to 50 pounds
May be exposed to infectious and contagious diseases
May be exposed to work settings that offer a risk to personal security
