We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented part-time Authorization Specialist to support our growing clinical teams. Position SummaryThe Authorization Specialist will complete and track ABA, Speech, and OT prior authorizations across multiple payers as well as check and verify eligibility. This is a part-time hybrid position with on-site training in Raynham followed by some remote flexibility. Ideal for someone who is organized, proactive, and enjoys working behind the scenes to keep clinical services running smoothly.ResponsibilitiesSubmit, monitor, and renew prior authorizations for ABA, Speech, and OT servicesWork within payer portals (Carelon, MassHealth POS, Optum, BCBS, MGB, and others)Review documentation for accuracy before submissionMaintain an organized authorization tracking system and monitor expiration datesCommunicate professionally with insurance payers, staff, and familiesManage denials or requests for additional informationEnsure compliance with payer-specific requirements and internal proceduresCheck and verify eligibility/coverage on a daily basis Protect client privacy and maintain HIPAA compliance QualificationsPrior authorization experience in healthcare requiredExperience with ABA, Speech, or OT authorizations strongly preferredFamiliarity with payer portals: Carelon, MassHealth, Optum, BCBS, etc.Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skillsStrong written and verbal communicationAbility to work independently and follow through on deadlinesExperience in pediatric outpatient or ABA agency setting a plusSchedule & HoursPart-time position (approximately 15–20 hours per week)Flexible scheduling (Monday–Friday)On-site training required; hybrid remote options available after trainingPowered by JazzHRCzEKfGjEv9
