About the Job:
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate educator to join our team as a high school teacher for business, marketing, and finance. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in teaching and a commitment to providing high-quality instruction to students.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver High-Quality Instruction: The successful candidate will deliver Level I and Level II business, marketing, and finance content to high school students, ensuring they meet the minimum requirements for promotion in subject areas required for assigned grade level.
- Maintain Accurate Records: They will maintain accurate and complete records as required by law, district policy, and administrative regulations.
- Collaborate with Colleagues: The educator will work collaboratively with colleagues and administrators, attending faculty meetings, PTA meetings, and professional development when scheduled.
- Support Student Growth: They will strive to implement the district's philosophy on education and instructional goals and objectives, helping students develop positive self-concepts and encouraging them to set and maintain high standards of behavior.
Requirements:
- Education: A Bachelor's Degree or higher from an accredited institution of higher education in the area of Business OR hold a currently valid 5-year Educator License in 105 Business Education, 405 Business Management, 192 Social Studies, or 193 Economics.
- Experience: At least one year of verifiable occupational experience in the last ten years.
- Licensure: Possess a valid teaching license in the state of employment.
- Communication Skills: Effective verbal and written communication skills.
