Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive exterior washing of vehicles using appropriate cleaning equipment and techniques to achieve a spotless finish.
- Conduct vehicle paint correction and automotive buffing to remove scratches, swirl marks, and surface imperfections, restoring the vehicle’s original shine.
- Detail vehicle interiors meticulously, including vacuuming carpets, cleaning upholstery, wiping down surfaces, and ensuring a fresh, inviting environment.
- Utilize automotive buffers and polishing tools safely to enhance vehicle appearance without damaging paint or surfaces.
- Maintain vehicle cleanliness throughout the process by following safe work practices and proper use of cleaning supplies and equipment.
- Assist with heavy lifting tasks related to moving vehicles or equipment within the auto detailing facility while adhering to safety protocols.
Requirements
- Prior experience in auto detailing or auto wash environments is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided for the right candidate.
- Ability to operate standard passenger cars confidently and safely; familiarity with manual transmission vehicles is a plus.
- Knowledge of vehicle paint correction techniques and automotive buffing tools is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of safe work practices when handling cleaning equipment, buffers, and chemicals.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently as part of daily tasks.
- Experience with auto detailing facilities or janitorial work involving vehicle or facility cleanliness is advantageous.
- Basic driving skills necessary for moving vehicles within the facility; valid driver’s license required.
