Role Description
This is a full-time on-site position for an Associate Pastor located in Olathe, KS. The Associate Pastor will assist in leading and overseeing spiritual development within our congregation. Responsibilities include delivering sermons, providing pastoral care, leading Bible studies and small groups, supporting discipleship programs, and participating in outreach initiatives. The Associate Pastor will also collaborate with church leadership to ensure alignment with the mission and vision of Sunflower Bible Church, while fostering spiritual growth among members.
Qualifications
- Experience and skill in Pastoring, Pastoral Care, and Pastoral leadership
- Strong abilities in Bible Study and teaching the Word of God
- Commitment to discipleship and guiding others in their spiritual journeys
- Effective communication, counseling, and interpersonal skills
- Ordained or qualified to serve in a pastoral role, with theological education or ministry experience preferred
- Passion for serving and a strong understanding of non-denominational church principles
- Ability to collaborate with church staff and maintain a supportive team environment
