Description
Sunflower Bank, N.A. is currently searching for a detail-oriented and highly motivated Commercial Portfolio Management Credit Analyst in Houston, TX. The Commercial Portfolio Management Credit Analyst will support Commercial Portfolio Managers in every aspect of the latter’s day-to-day activities.
- Become efficient in the use of all system and procedures used by the portfolio management group in its daily functioning including spreading software, projection and modeling software, credit approval software and formats for all formal credit recommendations of various types.
- Be strong source of support to PMs by producing inputs vital to the latter’s various projects such as financial spreads, charts, models and other components; such projects to include new extensions of credit, amendments/waivers, annual reviews, and other assignments.
- Acquire a basic understanding of the bank’s metrics and conditions for extending credit to its client applying that understanding on a daily basis.
- Acquire a basic understanding of the bank’s metrics and conditions for tracking its client’s operating/financial performance after a loan is made including covenant and borrowing base compliances.
Education / Experience Preferred:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or other applicable undergraduate or graduate degree.
- 2 years in commercial lending and credit analysis.
