Duties
- Perform regular pool cleaning, including skimming, vacuuming, brushing walls, and maintaining water clarity.
- Conduct routine inspections of pool equipment such as pumps, filters, heaters, and chlorination systems to ensure optimal operation.
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical issues with pool equipment using hand tools and power tools, minimizing downtime.
- Maintain chemical balance by testing water parameters and adjusting chemicals to meet safety standards.
- Carry out preventive maintenance tasks to extend the lifespan of pool systems and ensure compliance with health regulations.
- Document all maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections accurately in logs for record-keeping purposes.
- Assist with opening and closing pools seasonally or as needed to prepare for peak usage periods or off-season storage.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated mechanical knowledge with experience in equipment repair and troubleshooting.
- Prior experience as a service technician or in pool maintenance is highly preferred.
- Familiarity with pool cleaning techniques, chemical balancing, and routine maintenance procedures.
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and other maintenance equipment required for repairs.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow safety protocols diligently.
- Excellent problem-solving skills combined with a proactive approach to maintenance challenges.
