What are the responsibilities and job description for the Store Associate position at SUNDSTOP II LLC?
Purpose of Job:
Execute all guest service operations, ensuring all products and guest service meet the location’s standards of quality and excellence.
Execute all kitchen operations, ensuring all prepared foods meet restaurant safety and health standards. Cooks, assembles and wraps and dates all items, stocks all needed products and preparation materials in a clean and safe manner.
Essential Functions:
Communicate clearly, quickly and politely with team and guests to ensure correct order is taken and prepared.
Quickly and accurately prepare food products following location’s health and safety procedures.
Be pleasant and alert to guest needs.
Greet guests as they enter the store and thank them as they leave.
Process guest transactions and maintain an accurate cash drawer throughout shift.
Properly and safely operate and maintain equipment including, but not limited to, grills, fryers, walk-in coolers/freezers, ovens, stand alone freezers, and other related cooking equipment while following all health and safety standards.
Assemble and deliver order to guests quickly and efficiently.
Keep entire work area clean and sanitary throughout shift.
Clean, organize, and stock work area, kitchen, and kitchen stock area. Move various food, paper and cleaning items from other sections of building (or outside building) to specified areas.
Prepare products quickly and accurately, while following all preparation, health and safety standards and guidelines when needed.
Operate and maintain our equipment and registers properly and safely.
Complete assigned prep work for stocking and set up of assigned work area.
Stock and execute proper rotation of all products.
Assist with end of day cleaning.
Complete assigned prep work for stocking and set up all kitchen and storage areas.
Control food production process.
Break down and clean fryer/oven area thoroughly every day as outlined by policy and procedure, as well as common sense practices.
Work as a team member to assure constant and consistent quality, service, cleanliness and value to each guest.
Wash and sanitize counters, tables, restrooms, and trash receptacles, gather trash and remove from dining/service areas to proper receptacle, sweep, mop, stock and other cleaning tasks. Occasional need to be out of building (i.e., parking lot, freezer, trash container areas, etc.) for parking lot pick-up, trash removal and other maintenance and cleaning activities.
Inform immediate team leaders promptly of all problems, concerns, or unusual matters of significance.
