Job Summary

As a Director of Digital Marketing and Growth you will be both strategist and builder — responsible for leading our e-commerce, performance marketing, CRM, and social ecosystem. You’ll connect brand storytelling to measurable growth, leading campaigns that drive awareness, conversion, and loyalty.
You’re equal parts creative and analytical. You understand algorithms, audiences, and aesthetics. You know when to double down on data — and when to break the rules to make culture.
Essential Tasks, Duties and Responsibilities
Digital Growth & Strategy
● Architect KANHA’s end-to-end digital strategy across DTC, hemp, and global markets.
● Define channel roles, performance targets, and plans that drive scalable growth.
● Build and manage a modern marketing stack integrating CRM, attribution, analytics, and automation.
● Translate performance data into actionable insights for leadership — LTV, CAC, ROAS, and payback.
E-Commerce Leadership
● Own site experience for KANHALIFE.com, KANHABLISS.com, UX, merchandising, CRO, and performance.
● Oversee product detail pages, launch campaigns, and landing pages that turn browsers into buyers.
● Partner cross-functionally to ensure brand storytelling and product experience are cohesive end-to-end.
Social, Content & Community
● Lead content and social strategy across Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and Reddit.
● Develop a high-cadence, trend-driven content calendar around product, education, and culture.
● Grow social reach and engagement through creator partnerships, influencer programs, and UGC.
● Implement social listening and data-driven creative testing to guide brand voice and engagement.
Lifecycle, CRM & Loyalty
● Design lifecycle flows that nurture customers from awareness to repeat purchase (welcome, win-back, cross-sell).
● Architect and help define and build loyalty programs
● Manage CRM (Klaviyo, HubSpot) segmentation, personalization, and automation.
Analytics, Reporting & P&L
● Own digital dashboards (GA4, Looker Studio, Shopify, ESPs, paid media).
● Present performance reports with actionable recommendations and forecasted outcomes.
● Manage the digital P&L: track revenue, CAC, retention, and margin by channel.
Leadership & Collaboration
● Partner with Brand, Creative, and Sales to align storytelling across trade and DTC.
● Manage agencies, vendors, and a small internal team — hands-on, but strategic.
● Ensure compliance with cannabis advertising regulations, data privacy, and platform policies.
Minimum Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
● 7–10 years in digital marketing, growth, or e-commerce (CPG or regulated categories preferred).
● Proven track record of scaling DTC and social commerce revenue.
● Hands-on experience with Shopify, GA4, Klaviyo/HubSpot, Meta Ads, Google Ads, TikTok Ads.
● Deep understanding of lifecycle marketing, attribution, CRO, and data storytelling.
● Fluency in creative direction, brand voice, and paid content performance.
● Comfortable with P&L ownership, forecasting, and cross-functional influence.
● Strategic mindset with startup execution speed.
Physical Requirements
● Standing/walking for extended periods of time (e.g. marketing events)
● Occasional lifting, carrying, and moving of products, pallets, and equipment (up to 30 lbs.)
● Non-slip shoes required for safety in environments where applicable
The hiring range for this position in California starts at $110,000 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account the candidate’s job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.
