Growth Marketing Manager, New Client Acquisition & Strategic Partnerships

Location: New York City / Hybrid

Salary: $90,000 base performance-based bonus

Company: sundays studio

About sundays

sundays is a non-toxic nail care brand at the intersection of beauty, wellness, and self-care. With multiple studios across New York City, we are building an experience-driven brand that helps clients look good and feel good.

We are looking for a commercially minded, hands-on growth marketer who can turn marketing ideas, partnerships, creators, and experiences into measurable new-client bookings and revenue.

Role Mission

Own the integrated growth strategy that brings qualified new clients into each sundays studio. This role connects paid media, local SEO, influencer marketing, organic channels, strategic partnerships, referrals, email, and experiential campaigns into one measurable acquisition plan.

You will not be expected to personally execute every event, social post, or creative asset. You will, however, be responsible for ensuring that each channel and campaign has:

  • A clear target audience
  • A compelling offer and message
  • A path to booking
  • Strong follow-up
  • Measurable business results

This is not a brand-awareness-only role. Success will be measured by new clients, bookings, conversion, revenue, and efficient acquisition.

What You Will Own

Integrated new-client acquisition

  • Build a quarterly acquisition plan across paid, organic, influencer, referral, partnership, email, and experiential channels.
  • Develop location-specific campaigns based on neighborhood, studio capacity, client profile, and business needs.
  • Identify the strongest channels for each studio and allocate budget accordingly.
  • Improve the customer journey from first discovery through completed booking.

Performance and local digital marketing

  • Manage and optimize Google Ads, paid search, and local paid campaigns.
  • Improve local SEO and Google Business Profile performance for each studio.
  • Develop and test neighborhood-specific landing pages, offers, and booking journeys.
  • Improve website-to-booking conversion.
  • Track new-client bookings, CAC, conversion rate, revenue, and return by channel.

Partnership-led growth

  • Develop new business through partnerships with complementary brands, residential buildings, hotels, corporations, wellness businesses, schools, community organizations, and local businesses.
  • Create co-marketing campaigns, referral programs, corporate wellness offerings, gifting programs, and collaborative experiences.
  • Conduct outreach, build relationships, maintain an active pipeline, and follow up until opportunities convert.
  • Turn partnerships into measurable leads, appointments, group bookings, and revenue—not only visibility.

Influencer and creator marketing

  • Build a local creator and influencer strategy aligned with sundays’ target clients and studio neighborhoods.
  • Identify, outreach to, and manage creators who can drive qualified awareness and bookings.
  • Develop campaign briefs, booking links, promotional codes, UTMs, and follow-up plans.
  • Measure creator-generated bookings, CAC, revenue, content value, and repeat visits.
  • Build an ongoing roster of creators who produce meaningful results.

Events and experiential campaigns

  • Define the growth strategy behind events and pop-ups, including audience, offer, promotional plan, lead capture, booking conversion, and follow-up.
  • Work closely with the Event Manager, who will lead logistics, vendors, setup, supplies, scheduling, and event-day coordination.
  • Ensure events generate qualified leads, bookings, partnerships, and revenue rather than operating as standalone brand moments.

Cross-functional coordination

  • Create clear campaign briefs for the content, social, email, event, studio operations, and external agency teams.
  • Make sure the client receives a consistent message across online and in-person touchpoints.
  • Partner with the retention team on first-time-client follow-up, second-visit conversion, rebooking, and package conversion.
  • Present weekly results, insights, and recommended actions.

What This Role Does Not Mean

This person is not expected to personally:

  • Produce every social asset
  • Post all daily organic content
  • Handle all event logistics
  • Execute every email
  • Lead all PR outreach
  • Design every landing page

However, this role must be able to set the growth strategy, provide clear direction, coordinate the right people, follow through, and remain accountable for commercial results.

Ideal Experience

  • 5–7 years in growth marketing, performance marketing, strategic partnerships, business development, or local acquisition
  • Experience growing a multi-location service, beauty, wellness, fitness, med spa, salon, hospitality, or retail business
  • Strong knowledge of Google Ads, local SEO, Google Business Profile, GA4, landing pages, UTM tracking, and conversion reporting
  • Experience developing brand partnerships, local collaborations, influencer campaigns, or referral programs
  • Demonstrated ability to turn campaigns and relationships into appointments, leads, reservations, or in-store visits
  • Comfortable conducting outreach, developing relationships, negotiating opportunities, and following up
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to translate data into practical action
  • Experience coordinating internal teams, agencies, creators, and external partners
