Duties
- Perform professional manicure and pedicure treatments using various techniques and nail care products.
- Apply color theory principles to recommend nail polish shades and designs that complement clients’ skin tones and personal styles.
- Provide additional beauty services such as nail art, gel polish application, acrylics, or nail extensions to enhance client satisfaction.
- Maintain a clean, sanitized workspace by adhering to strict sanitation protocols for tools, equipment, and work areas.
- Offer personalized consultations to understand client preferences, recommend suitable treatments, and upsell retail products like nail care items or skincare products.
- Educate clients on proper nail care routines and aftercare to promote healthy nails.
- Stay current with industry trends in nail art, body waxing, eyelash extensions, hair styling, hair extensions, dermabrasion, esthetic laser treatments, hair threading, barbering techniques, and other beauty services.
Requirements
- Valid cosmetology license or certification with specialization in nail care required.
- Proven experience in manicures and pedicures with a portfolio of creative work preferred.
- Knowledge of color theory to assist clients in selecting flattering shades and designs.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively and build rapport with diverse clients.
- Commitment to sanitation standards and safety procedures to ensure a hygienic environment.
Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour
