Responsibilities
- Perform a variety of nail services including manicures, pedicures, gel manicures, acrylic and nail extension applications with precision and care.
- Apply and customize nail enhancements such as gel polish, acrylic nails, and nail art using color theory principles to achieve desired aesthetic effects.
- Maintain strict salon safety protocols by adhering to sanitation and disinfection procedures for tools, equipment, and workstations.
- Communicate effectively with clients to understand their preferences, provide personalized recommendations, and ensure a satisfying experience.
- Educate clients on proper nail care routines and product usage to promote healthy nails and skin.
- Upsell retail products related to nail care, skincare, and beauty treatments to enhance client satisfaction and salon revenue.
- Stay updated on industry trends such as eyelash extensions, body waxing, hair styling, esthetic laser treatments, dermabrasion, hair threading, hair extensions, and barbering techniques to broaden service offerings.
Skills
- Strong knowledge of color theory to create visually appealing nail designs.
- Proficiency in applying various nail enhancements including acrylics, gel nails, and extensions.
- Experience performing pedicures and manicure services with attention to detail.
- Familiarity with salon safety protocols including sanitation standards and disinfection procedures.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and build rapport with diverse clients.
- Ability to work efficiently while maintaining high-quality standards in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of retail math for effective upselling of products and services.
