Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Maintenance Director to oversee the maintenance operations within our facility. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a comprehensive understanding of various maintenance disciplines, including HVAC, electrical systems, and industrial maintenance. This role requires effective management of maintenance staff, ensuring all equipment and facilities are maintained to the highest standards for safety and efficiency.
Duties
- Lead and supervise the maintenance team, providing guidance and support to ensure optimal performance.
- Develop and implement maintenance management strategies to enhance operational efficiency.
- Oversee the use of Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) for tracking work orders and inventory.
- Manage the maintenance of programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and ensure proper functioning of all automated systems.
- Conduct regular inspections of facilities to identify areas needing repair or improvement.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a safe working environment for all employees.
- Coordinate with project management teams on facility upgrades or new installations.
- Utilize mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot equipment issues and perform necessary repairs.
- Maintain schematics for electrical systems, high voltage, low voltage, and HVAC systems.
- Provide training and development opportunities for maintenance staff to enhance their skills.
Requirements
- Proven experience in facilities management or a similar role with a strong emphasis on leadership.
- Solid understanding of HVAC systems, electrical systems, mechanical systems, and industrial maintenance practices.
- Strong supervisory experience with the ability to lead.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on safety and compliance standards.
- Familiarity with project management principles related to facility upgrades or renovations.
- Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.

Pay: $58,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
