Maintenance Technician

Sundance Property Management Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Technician to maintain our portfolio of single family homes and small plexes in the Portland Metro area.
The Maintenance Tech ensures the maintenance operations are done to the standards of Sundance Property Management. You will be responsible for completing all maintenance requests and upkeep of the properties, as well as other duties directed to you by the maintenance coordinator and property manager, to make sure that the properties are running in optimal conditions to maximize resident retention. Your workdays will be Monday through Friday 8am to 4:30 pm. You will be required to occasionally be on call during the weekends

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Be able to perform basic house maintenance, plumbing, electricity, painting, drywall repair, install and repair floor coverings, light carpentry and door locks

• Compliant with all OSHA laws and regulations
• Maintain a professional, courteous manner with all residents, vendors, contractors and fellow employees at all times.
• Ability to effectively present information and communicate verbally and in writing.
• Collaborates with property manager to ensure that maintenance is done to company standards.
• Ensure that on-call maintenance and emergency response is executed in a timely manner, as required.

Maintains property by investigating and resolving resident complaints, inspecting vacant units, completing repairs, and working with landscapers to maintain property grounds.
