Essential Functions
- Lead pre-shift briefings to review priorities, menu highlights, and service standards.
- Guide and support servers and bartenders through coaching, feedback, and mentorship.
- Coordinate with the kitchen and bar to ensure pacing, accuracy, and quality.
- Oversee setup and breakdown to maintain cleanliness and readiness.
- Monitor inventory, requisitions, and par levels for all service items.
- Engage guests with genuine hospitality, anticipating needs and ensuring satisfaction.
- Maintain documentation, including shift reports and operational checklists.
- Serve as liaison between management and staff for seamless communication.
- Prepare and present beverages to company standards.
- Follow recipes precisely and maintain top presentation.
- Educate guests on products and services.
- Understand and comply with Utah alcohol laws.
- Serve responsibly and complete all required documentation.
- Communicate beverage options clearly and knowledgeably.
- Maintain clean, safe, and organized work areas.
- Stock supplies and ensure equipment remains in good repair.
- Assist with hiring, training, and performance management.
- Address employee issues and recognize strong performance.
- Complete and submit HR paperwork promptly.
- High School Diploma or equivalent; hospitality coursework preferred.
- 2 years in luxury or boutique hotel dining required.
- 1 year in a supervisory or captain role preferred.
- Strong communication and leadership skills.
- Must meet Utah alcohol certification requirements.
