Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and proactive Maintenance Technician to join our team and ensure the seamless operation of our facilities. This role is vital in maintaining the integrity, safety, and efficiency of our equipment and infrastructure. As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing issues, performing repairs, and implementing preventative maintenance across a variety of systems. Duties
- Conduct routine inspections and maintenance on mechanical systems, HVAC/R (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning/Refrigeration), and electrical equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Troubleshoot and repair appliances, refrigeration units, air conditioning systems, and other mechanical components using schematics and technical manuals.
- Perform equipment repairs including motors, pumps, compressors, and HVAC units to minimize downtime.
- Diagnose issues using schematics and technical diagrams; implement effective solutions promptly.
- Lead small teams or coordinate with contractors during major maintenance or repair projects when necessary.
- Ensure resident work orders are completed in a timely manner
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs performed, and parts used to ensure accurate documentation for future reference.
Experience
- Proven experience as a Maintenance Technician in a commercial or industrial setting.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in appliance repair, HVAC/R systems, refrigeration, electrical, and equipment repair.
- Familiarity with schematics, technical manuals, and diagnostic tools for troubleshooting complex systems.
- Knowledge of HVAC systems including air conditioning units, ventilation systems, and refrigeration technology.
- Experience working on construction or renovation projects is a plus.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to guide team members or coordinate with contractors effectively.
