Cook (Assisted Living):
Sundale Senior Living offers assisted living to seniors. Our goal is to bridge the gap between independent living and standalone assisted living solutions for seniors.
As a Sundale Cook, show your passion for food and preparing beautiful, hand-crafted dishes for our residents. Must desire to work with seniors and have a tolerance for behaviors associated with the aging processes.
What truly matters:
- Execute menu items, plate presentation, and food quality to company standards.
- Knowledge of food preparation, ingredients, recipes, and equipment used for dining facilities.
- Maintaining kitchen sanitation and safety standards
- Assist Kitchen manager with inventory controls and follow budgets.
- Ability to remain calm in a variety of situations and use sound judgment
- Ability to work flexible hours as needed. Must be available to work weekends and holidays

What you’ll be responsible for:
- Know how to follow a recipe
- Prepare hot and cold menu items for residents three times a day.
- Ensure the proper preparation, portioning, and serving of foods as indicated on the menu.
- Follow daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning and sanitation schedules
- Provide exceptional customer service and care to our senior residents
- Serve-safe training certification and ongoing training
- Ensure compliance with all laws and regulations as they relate to food service within the communities
