Suncrest Assisted Living is seeking a compassionate, dependable, and dedicated Resident Assistant (RA) to join our overnight team. This is a 0.4 FTE position working 10:30 PM – 7:00 AM, providing personalized care and support to our residents while ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being throughout the night.
As a Resident Assistant, you will play an important role in helping residents maintain their dignity and independence while creating a warm, welcoming environment. The ideal candidate enjoys building meaningful relationships, works well independently, and is committed to providing exceptional resident-centered care.
Schedule
- 0.4 FTE
- Night Shift: 10:30 PM – 7:00 AM
- Includes every other weekend and holiday rotation.
Wage
$17.00 – $17.75 per hour, based on experience.
Responsibilities
- Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including dressing, bathing, toileting, grooming, and mobility as needed.
- Answer resident call lights promptly and provide compassionate care.
- Observe residents for changes in physical or emotional condition and report concerns to the nurse or supervisor.
- Assist with transfers and ambulation using proper body mechanics and equipment.
- Provide companionship and emotional support while promoting resident independence.
- Medication administration
- Complete routine safety checks and maintain a secure environment during overnight hours.
- Perform light housekeeping and laundry duties as assigned.
- Accurately document resident care and communicate effectively with the healthcare team.
- Follow all state regulations, facility policies, and infection prevention practices.
