We’re looking for a dedicated Labratory Sand and Gravel Technician to join our Asphalt/Aggregate Lab team! If you have a high school education (or equivalent) and are passionate about learning and growing, we want to hear from you! IDOT WAQCT certifications are a bonus, but not required to be hired—we’re more interested in your willingness to learn and contribute, we can help you get your certifications!
Things You’ll Do
- Perform lab tests on sand, gravel, and asphalt materials
- Lift up to 75 lbs regularly
- Work with a friendly, collaborative team to maintain high-quality standards
- Learn and understand specifications related to asphalt and aggregate materials
- Communicate clearly and work well with others, always maintaining a positive attitude
Requirements
- Strong work ethic
- Ability to lift heavy materials
- Eager to learn and grow in a fast-paced, hands-on environment
- Ability to communicate effectively and work well with team members
