Job Summary:
As a Taxation subject matter expert working for a “top 20 Largest Accounting and Consulting Firm” with a culture that promotes good work/life balance you’d: Perform technical reviews of tax returns for high-net-worth individuals (primarily their personal income tax returns as well as their closely held businesses, trust, estate, and gift tax returns) and/or privately held businesses’ engagement work papers and tax returns for Individuals, Partnerships, S- and C-corporations; Provide consultation on business and/or personal transactions; Manage large and complex engagements and workflows of multiple clients; Engage with the firm’s internal business development department; Provide thought leadership (such as contributing to technical publications and engaging in speaking opportunities); and, Develop the firm’s internal professionals to develop managers responsible for engagement management responsibilities.
Requirements:
A Director role requires: a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Tax, or Finance (prefer a Master’s degree in Accounting or Taxation); being qualified to practice before the IRS (i.e., JD, CPA, or EA); Minimum of 8 years' experience in public accounting in taxation; and, Minimum of 4 years in a managerial role involving clients and team members.
Location:
Position is for the Philadelphia PA office with some work from home too.
Pay: From $200,000.00 per year
