Suncoast Post-Tension Ltd, a Keller Company, is an established post tension and rebar manufacturing company that has been in business for over 30 years. We supply construction related materials to builders from one of our eight manufacturing facilities in the US.
We are looking for an experienced Rebar and Post Tension Sales Representative to join our team in San Antonio, TX. This position requires the ability to build relationships, account maintenance and outbound sales. The individual for this position will be able to operate with a high level of autonomy with little close supervision on daily duties. Much of the work is locally based with little overnight travel. The perfect candidate will have experience in the construction industry, preferably with rebar sales experience. The expectation is a 25% ongoing account management with around 75% outbound sales.

Responsibilities
- Overseeing billing, orders, pour dates, repairs, bids and coordinating deliveries
- Maintain communication with existing customers to ensure we are meeting their needs
- Address issues or concerns from current customers
- Identify and contact potential new customers utilizing, building permits, industry contacts, cold call office visits, sales meetings
- Estimate jobs for existing and new sales customers
- Assist AR with collections; obtain PO’s, pickup checks, contact customers for payment status
- Assist Logistics to help with Hot Shot deliveries as needed
- Other duties as assigned
Education
- High school diploma required; 2-year Associates Degree preferred
- Prior commercial rebar sales is preferred
- Rebar and Concrete construction knowledge is preferred
- Must be able to read blueprints for commercial projects
- Experience in relationship building, account maintenance and outbound sales
- Ability to recognize new business opportunities
- Experience with Microsoft office suite of products is required (excel, word primarily)
- Ability to meet fast paced and dynamic schedules and deadlines
- Must be well organized, self-motivated, & reliable
- Must possess excellent interpersonal & customer relations skills
- Excellent computer skills and written & verbal communication skills necessary
Salary Range: $80,000 DOE
