SunCoast Operations Consultants is seeking a proactive and relationship-driven Client Acquisition Specialist to support business growth through strategic outreach, lead generation, client engagement, and sales support.
This full-time, on-site position based in Sarasota County, Florida is responsible for identifying prospective clients, building meaningful professional relationships, guiding qualified leads through the early stages of the client journey, and contributing to overall client acquisition and business development efforts.
The Client Acquisition Specialist will conduct outreach through phone, email, LinkedIn, networking events, referrals, and community engagement while maintaining a highly organized lead pipeline within the company CRM. This role also includes scheduling discovery calls and consultations for the leadership team, researching target industries and decision-makers, supporting proposal preparation and follow-up communication, and assisting with consultative sales initiatives designed to support company growth.
The ideal candidate is confident in both consultative business and sales environments, highly organized, professional in communication, comfortable initiating conversations, and capable of clearly articulating the value of operational consulting services to business owners, executives, nonprofit leaders, and decision-makers across multiple industries.
- Identify, research, and engage prospective clients across multiple industries
- Conduct outreach through email, phone, LinkedIn, referrals, and networking opportunities
- Qualify inbound and outbound leads and coordinate discovery consultations
- Support client acquisition and consultative sales initiatives through strategic outreach and relationship-building
- Maintain accurate records and lead activity within CRM platforms
- Support proposal preparation, follow-up communication, and client onboarding coordination
- Collaborate with leadership on growth strategy, outreach campaigns, market positioning, and sales support efforts
- Represent SunCoast Operations Consultants at professional events and community networking opportunities
- Track pipeline activity, outreach performance, and conversion metrics to support continuous improvement
- Build and maintain professional relationships that contribute to long-term business development efforts
- Experience in business development, client acquisition, consultative sales, sales support, or professional relationship management
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to engage professionally with executives, business owners, and nonprofit leadership
