Overview
We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Account Manager to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing client accounts, fostering strong relationships, and driving sales growth. This role requires a blend of foodservice knowledge, relationship management, and sales expertise. The Account Manager will play a vital role in business development within an assigned territory.

Duties

  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with operators and distributors to ensure satisfaction and retention.
  • Manage the entire sales process from prospecting to closing, utilizing sales tools for tracking and reporting.
  • Conduct sales calls to current and potential operators to introduce new products as well as provide solutions to operator needs.
  • Collaborate with manufacturers' reps and management to understand product offerings and effectively communicate features and benefits to operators and distributors.
  • Develop strategic plans for account management that align with company goals.
  • Identify new business opportunities within existing accounts
  • Provide ongoing support to operators and distributors, addressing any inquiries or concerns promptly.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in account management or a related field, preferably in foodservice sales.
  • Strong negotiation skills with the ability to close deals effectively.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft programs such as Outlook, Word, and Excel.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Demonstrated success in sales and business development, with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also being self-motivated.
  • Familiarity with the foodservice industry is highly desirable.

Pay: $36,000.00 - $54,000.00 per year

Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
